Set 50 years after the previous installment of the franchise, ‘Blade Runner 2099’ follows a fugitive in futuristic Los Angeles, not for humanity, who leaves behind her past and takes on a new identity: Blade Runner. Cora is forced to cooperate with a replicant, Olwen, to track down the fugitive who is hiding the truth that would bring down the fragile city.“Replicants, they keep taking everything,” Schafer says in the trailer, before adding, “How much longer until we have nothing?
