Dr. Ben Affleck himself put his trivia skills to the test recently when he appeared on the latest episode of ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’. Teaming up with ‘Jeopardy’ winner Jamie Ding, the actor competed on a team to win $1 million for his own charity. During the segment, with one of the questions, Affleck ended up candidly commenting how Matt DamonHis appearance on the show before him helped him find the answer to one of the questions that host Jimmy Kimmel asked.

While appearing on the latest episode of ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ with Jamie Ding, Affleck ended up admitting that Matt Damon inspired him to be well-prepared for one of the show’s high-budget questions. While competing against Larry David and his daughter Cazzie David, Affleck and Ding went up a notch in the money, reaching $250,000 USD.For the question, Kimmel asked them: “During Spain’s annual El Colacho festival, men dressed in devil costumes run and jump over what?” While answering the question, the “Batman” actor revealed that his old friend Matt Damon might have indirectly inspired him to read the question. She shared, “So when Matt was on this show, I was sitting there like, ‘I could answer that question.’ I could answer that,” you know, like trying to reassure my insecurity, and he got this question about it from New Year’s Eve in Spain and, like, what do you eat with grapes was the answer. And I didn’t know that.”He also shared that he did a little research on Spain and the festival customs related to it because of the ‘Odyssey’ actor. He explained: “Because I said at first, well, I speak Spanish, and I know a little bit about the Spanish-speaking world, and I thought, ‘Oh my God, that would have been embarrassing.’ And I Googled these customs and things that happened. And that was one of them.”He concluded, “That’s a tip for Matt Damon. Thanks, Matt,” to which Kimmel joked and responded that they should edit it out of the show’s final cut.During the game, they were also asked about a popular fast food chain and one of their specific items, to which Affleck admitted that he eats a lot from there. However, the duo still missed the question and had to use one of their lifelines.The final two questions for Affleck and Ding will air on Wednesday, July 29 at 8:00 PM ET on ABC.
