BOI Credit Officer Notification 2026: Bank of India has announced 779 vacancies for the post of Credit Officer at various scales in the stream of General Banking Officer (GBO). A brief notification has been released, while detailed recruitment information and online application forms will be available on the bank’s official website from June 30. The online registration process will also start on the same day.The recruitment process is designed for experienced loan professionals. According to a short notice released on June 28, eligible graduates will be able to apply for the jobs announced after publication. All notification will also include post-wise eligibility criteria and other recruitment guidelines.The details of the recruitment process are the selection processThis job is done in the posts of Credit Officer in the grades of MMGS-II, MMGS-III and SMGS-IV. Selection will include an online test and/or interview, depending on the number of applicants and who are eligible.The online test will consist of 150 questions carrying 150 marks. A penalty of one fourth of a mark will apply for each wrong answer. The salary of the selected candidates will be from Rs. 64,820 to Rs. 1,02,300.Eligibility and ageFor the posts of MMGS-II and MMGS-III, the candidates must have a graduation degree of at least 60 percent, or 55 percent for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates, from a recognized university or institution. Candidates with CA, CFA, CMA-ICWA, MBA, PGDBM or two years postgraduate qualification in Banking, Finance or credit related discipline are also eligible.For SMGS-IV posts, candidates must be graduates with marks passed along with MBA, PGDBM, two-year full-time master’s degree in any discipline, or CA, CFA or CMA-ICWA qualifications from a recognized institution.The age limit is 25 to 35 years for MMGS-II, 28 to 38 years for MMGS-III, and 30 to 40 years for SMGS-IV.Application and registration feesThe online application window will open on June 30. The last date for registration, fee payment schedule and last date for printing the application form will be announced in detail.Candidates belonging to General and other categories have to pay a fee of Rs. 850, plus charges. Applicants from SC, ST and PWD categories have to pay Rs. 175 to cases of information only. The distribution of work according to the category and project number will be notified in the detailed notification.
