The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has extended the Phase II admission schedule for first-year intermediate courses for the 2026-27 academic year to July 31, 2026, giving eligible students more time to get admission in junior colleges across the state.The extension comes as a relief to students who have not completed the admission process. The agency has requested all eligible candidates to complete their admission before the revised deadline by visiting their preferred junior colleges and submitting the required documents.

With the latest additions, students who have not yet registered for the first-year intermediate courses can complete their admissions until July 31, 2026. It will also help eligible students to join junior colleges for new courses.BIEAP has also directed junior colleges to complete admissions as per the guidelines issued by the association and to follow the reservation policy while filling the available seats.
One third of the seats reserved for female students
Reiterating its admission policy, the board has said that 33 percent of all seats will be reserved for women students during the admission process.The reservation has been established to improve the participation of girls in secondary education and increase their access to secondary schools in Andhra Pradesh. Colleges have been advised to use the reservation policy while admitting students in the extension window.

Applicants who have not yet received an offer of admission are advised to apply to the junior colleges of their choice without delay and complete all admissions before the revised deadline.Students should ensure that all required documents are submitted within the stipulated time to avoid missing out on admission opportunities.
