On his Instagram stories, Bassi posted a photo of Monday’s Chalo Sansad march in Delhi, during which police used lathi charges against a number of student protesters. The footage captured a policeman swinging his lathi, while a protester stood her ground, shielding the other protesters from the blow.In the caption, he wrote, “Ye hamari waali generation nahi hai jo bachpan ki trauma jawani pe daale aur jawani ka budhape pe, manipulate easily nahi hote hein ye. “They have rights” sun ke hi bade hue hein aur sharp toh ye behadd hein hain. generation who will pour their childhood trauma into their youth and then into their old age. Officials and protesters give conflicting accounts
Delhi officials said the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protesters became unruly and aggressive during Monday’s rally in New Delhi, and engaged in violent behavior. Their central demand is the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged leak of NEET papers and other exam-related irregularities, along with broader calls to reform the education system.
