Antoinette Bower died last April 30 at the age of 93, according to a recent report shared by The Hollywood Reporter. The movie star was living at the Eagle Rock retirement home in Los Angeles at the time of his death. The news was confirmed in a statement by his close friend, Carlotta Glackin. The reason for his death was not shared with the public.

Antoinette Bower was born in Baden-Baden, Germany in 1932 to a German mother and an English father. She began her career as a field language supervisor and welfare counselor in the late 1940s, helping people affected by World War II. After moving to Canada with his family in 1953, he began working in the public affairs department of a broadcasting company. During his tenure there, he was also tasked with writing scripts and conducting live television interviews.In 1956, he got some of his first roles as a supporting character in two series. These include “The Tell-Tale Heart” (1958) and “Hudson’s Bay” (1959). From the 1960s to the 1980s, Bower became a household name for scoring roles in some of the biggest series of the era. This included roles such as ‘Star Trek’, where she appeared as the shape-shifting alien Sylvia, as well as her portrayal of Eva Norda in ‘The Twilight Zone’.Over the years, he honed his acting skills and worked on around 100 acting projects. They also include “Kojak,” “Columbo,” “Perry Mason,” “The Fugitive,” “Hawaii Five-O” and Murder, She Wrote.” He also had a recurring role on “Neon Rider” for about three seasons.On the big screen, he appeared in the Filipino horror film ‘Superbeast’, released in 1972.
