Amy Adams, the star of ‘Klara and the Sun’, has been through a lot in life. This also includes a life or death situation that required his quick thinking and even saved someone’s life. In a recent podcast episode, the actress recalled what it was like to help the man and how daunting the experience was for her.
Amy Adams remembers saving a stranger’s life
The actress, while talking about her life and career on the ‘Smartless’ podcast, revealed that she once saved someone’s life. He revealed that he concentrates a lot if there is an emergency around him. When asked by Will Arnett to elaborate on the matter, he revealed that there was a time when he saved someone’s life.“I’ve come across a couple of scenes where we’ve been like the first people on the scene,” she said, further sharing that there was a moment in Santa Monica when she was with her father and her husband and daughter when she heard people yelling “she’s dying” as her husband screamed that he could see blood. Adams revealed she jumped straight into action, told her husband to stay with their daughter and ran to help the man.She added: “He had been stabbed in the neck so he was bleeding and his friends were scared. Luckily we were going to the beach – we took towels – my dad has been in a lot of scenes. [and] I guess it also attracts them and puts pressure on them. I’m sitting there, sort of saying, “You need to calm your pulse.” Take a deep breath. He was literally so focused. I said, “The more you fight, the faster you bleed.” Just lie down. Let’s elevate this’”.She then even shared that the man survived and that she met him almost a year after the incident. She remembered that the man had his son with him, and became teary-eyed when he spoke to her and thanked her for saving him.In the episode, Sean Hayes, who hosts the show, had also recalled how, after filming an episode of ‘Will and Grace’, he also ended up in a similar situation of saving someone, who had been shot.
