AISSMS IOIT strengthens the India-Japan academic relationship with the collaboration of Happy Science University

Continuing its commitment to internationalization and global learning, AISSMS Institute of Information Technology (AISSMS IOIT), Pune, has sent a delegation of 19 students along with Faculty Team Coordinator Dr. Varsha K. Patilto will participate in the Short-Term International Student and Staff Exchange Program at Happy Science University, scheduled from 30 July to 8 August 2026.This exchange program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to experience international education, cross-cultural learning, professional education, and the opportunity to interact with students and teachers in Japan. Through classes, cultural immersion, institutional visits, and work experiences, participants will gain valuable global perspectives that will enrich their academic and personal development.This visit is very important for the development of academic cooperation between AISSMS IOIT and Happy Science University. Earlier this year, a delegation from Happy Science University visited AISSMS IOIT and participated in the school’s annual cultural festival, Alacrity, establishing a solid foundation for academic cooperation, cultural exchange, and social engagement. The current program represents the equivalent of a successful international partnership.Year-round collaborations and exchanges between the two organizations have been coordinated by Dr. Meenakshi A. Thalor, Dean – International Partnerships, and Dr. Varsha K. Patil, under the visionary leadership of Principal Dr. Pradeep B. Mane and with the encouragement and support of Honorable Secretary Malojiraje Chhatrapati.Speaking about the project, the organization emphasized that international cooperation is very useful in preparing students to become professionals in the world by exposing them to different areas of education, cultures, and intellectual practices.This initiative reflects the unwavering commitment of AISSMS IOIT to promote international cooperation and provide international learning experiences, further strengthening the academic and cultural ties between India and Japan.
