Anshula and Arjun Kapoor’s mother Mona Shourie Kapoor passed away years ago after battling cancer; however, she was still there with her daughter in spirit. leading to her Instagram account, the content creator remembered her mother on her special day and candidly revealed how she was able to accompany her daughter through it all.She shared a post on her Instagram along with her wedding portraits where she wrote, “There was only one thing I knew I wanted to take with me when I became a bride: my mother’s 42-year-old gold weave and zardozi dupatta. Everything else was built around it.” In the emotional post, the star revealed that she wanted to be with the person who raised her as she entered this new chapter in her life. “On a day that marked the beginning of a new family, it felt right to be wrapped up in the one that raised me first,” added Anshula.Later in the post, she revealed that her entire outfit for the wedding was created as a way to complement her mother’s zardozi dupatta. She tagged her stylists and the people who created her look and talked about how the outfit came about and how it featured traditional elements from across India.She wrote: “A bridal ensemble that brought together craftsmanship from all over India: an intricate Kashida embroidery layered with rich zari work, a bandhini gharchola dupatta as a nod to the family I married into, all in a palette of antique rose, blush and muted gold, finished with delicate Phulkari borders as a tribute to my Punjabi roots.”
