It is mandatory for DU that the candidates appear for the CUET UG 2026 examination in the same subject in which they passed the Class 12 examination. The topic mapping process works for language topics as well as domain topics.

Candidates can provide multiple college preferences

Delhi University has allowed applicants to choose from a wide range of colleges as per their eligibility. However, the organization has emphasized that consistency of preferences is one of the most important aspects of distribution.Students are advised to prepare a list of their preferences after checking their preferences, eligibility, and admission opportunities. The university has also helped candidates to change their choices several times before the last date. Only preferences registered on the portal before the closing time will be considered for seat allotment.

First list of parts will be released on July 16

The University will announce the first list of CSAS UG 2026 at 5 pm on July 16. Candidates who will receive seats in the first row must accept the place they were assigned between July 16 and July 18. The scholarship will complete the verification of programs until July 20, while the last day to pay the admission fee for the first visit is July 21.The second allotment list should be released on July 25. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the second round should complete the interest payment on July 28.

Admission based on CUET UG 2026 details

Delhi University is offering admission to 73 graduate programs and a total of 150 under the Bachelor of Arts (BA) program through the CSAS portal this year. Admission will be done entirely on the basis of the CUET UG 2026 schools, subject to the program eligibility requirements. The university has also retained the option of upgrading and canceling admissions. Students who accept an assigned seat and complete the admissions process can suspend their acceptance or choose to upgrade their preferred program or college in the next row without losing the available seat, as long as they meet the requirements.

What applicants should keep in mind

As the application process has begun, candidates are now at one of the most important stages of admission to Delhi University for graduate programs. Although the CUET UG result will help the aspirants to qualify, the distribution will depend a lot on how the preferences are managed by them. This is why students are advised to look at the subject map correctly, and to check their preferences before filling them.
