Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer sports action drama ‘Peddi’ directed by Buchi Babu Sana released on 4th June. The film will soon complete a month of its theatrical release and is adding decent numbers to its total box office collection.According to trade analyst Sacnilk, the film minted Rs 36 lakh in 947 shows on Tuesday. In its first week, the film earned a total of Rs 193.55 crore. As the days went by, the collection of the film went down, and in its second week it earned Rs 34.45 crore. Also, it earned Rs 9.37 crore in the third week.After this week’s collection, the total India gross collection is Rs 284.77 crore and the total India net collection is Rs 240.85 crore as of now.The film’s overseas collection stands at Rs 52.90 crore gross, taking its total worldwide gross to Rs 337.67 crore.

The total Telugu occupancy was recorded at 18.86%, with a higher share during the afternoon shows at 19.44%. Morning shows added decent strength with 16.22%, and afternoon shows had 16.11%. Night shows recorded 17.33%.

Talking about the movie, it tells the story of a cricketer who plays for any team that is willing to pay him. His life changes after an incident with his compatriot Appalasuri, who has been trying for many years to get a railway station and official recognition for his village. Using his elite athletic skills, he then goes from a gambler who only wants money to a dedicated athlete who is willing to sacrifice himself for others.
