veteran star Ranjeet He recently looked back at some of his fond memories in Bollywood, one of which included another star to tie pulling his ears. This came after Bindu, during a recent interview, had opened up about the kind of person Ranjeet was.
Ranjeet responds to Bindu’s comment about her being innocent
While chatting with Vickey Lalwani, Bindu spoke about her long career and how things have been for her. During one of the segments in the episode, she had talked about working with Ranjeet and called him an “innocent and jovial” person.In response to his message, the veteran star, known for her work in ‘Sharmeelee’, ‘Namak Halaal’ and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, shared a video message about the moment she got his ear. In the video, he stated, “Mrs Bindu, how did you know I was innocent? Thank you so much for praising me. It felt wonderful and brought back so many old memories. I also remembered that I have a photograph where you are pulling my ears. If I was so innocent, then why did you pull my ears? I still don’t understand. Please call me and tell me.”Bindu and Ranjeet are some of the most famous actors in the Indian film industry. Having been part of the industry for over five decades, the two have remained close friends and have worked together in many productions including ‘Naseeb’, ‘Laawaris’ and ‘Prem Rog’.

Ranjeet, whose real name is Gopal Bedi, is a veteran star active in the industry since the 1970s and shot to fame for his villainous roles in several films. The 84-year-old star remains an active force in the industry, last appearing in ‘Housefull 4’ and ‘Housefull 5’ in 2019 and 2025 respectively. She has also appeared in Bhojpuri, Malayalam and Punjabi cinema over the years.Legend Bindu Nanubhai Desai, 85, started his career at the same time as Ranjeet. Over the years, she appeared in many films, which include ‘Abhimaan’, ‘Kati Patang’, ‘Amar Prem’, ‘Do Raaste’ and others. She has not been active in the film industry since 2008, and her last appearances were in ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Mehbooba’.
