Tamil Nadu to start MBBS, BDS registration for 2026-27 as NEET UG results awaited
Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Board has started accepting online applications for admission to MBBS/BDS programs for the academic year 2026-27. Candidates who are eligible for admission can apply online from the official website while waiting for the final result of NEET-UG 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to announce the revised NEET-UG results after the June 21 re-examination. The NTA had announced the resumption of the exam following the May 3 exam announcement. After the expiry of the temporary answer key objection period, all the candidates are eagerly waiting for the final release of the answer key or result.The Tamil Nadu government is making concessions despite the delay in the declaration of the NEET-UG 2026 results to ensure that there is enough time to prepare for the counseling when the entrance exam results are announced.Applicants for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses can apply through the official website of the official medical portal of the state.

These documents should be ready by the applicants: Re-admission card & score card of NEET-UG 2026, Mark sheet of Class 10, Mark sheet of Class 11, Mark sheet of Higher Secondary (Class 12), Transfer certificate obtained at the end, Plus Two or equivalent, 6 certification of students who have attended class 12. classes 6 to 12 for help outside Tamil Nadu, Documents of people residing in Tamil Nadu who have completed their education in Tamil Nadu, Permanent Community Certificate Card, First Graduate Certificate.Candidates who wish to avail the Graduate Scholarship will also need to submit a relevant certificate issued by the relevant authorities at the time of admission to the given college.
