actor Radikaa Sarathkumar has come down heavily on the way some paparazzi and people behaved during the funeral of veteran Tamil filmmaker K Bhagyaraj. He said a funeral should be a time to say goodbye and not an opportunity to create content for social media.

According to Deccan Chronicle, speaking about the incident, he said, “There has to be a line. A funeral is a farewell, not a photo opportunity. At some point, compassion has to be greater than content.”On Monday, Radikaa also shared a touching tribute to K Bhagyaraj on X (formerly Twitter). He said the funeral, which should have been a quiet farewell, turned into a circus because of the crowd and constant taping.

The funeral of K Bhagyaraj

K Bhagyaraj died on June 27 in Chennai after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was 73 years old. His last rites were performed with full state honors on June 28 at the Besant Nagar crematorium. Many actors and technicians from the Tamil film industry attended the funeral to pay their last respects.
