Veteran choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan has opened up about a deeply emotional milestone in her career: choreographing Aryan Khan in her much-anticipated directorial debut series, ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’. Having spent decades working with Shah Rukh Khan on some of Bollywood’s most iconic songs, Farah says working with SRK’s son has completed her journey in the most meaningful way.

During an appearance on Shekhar Suman’s popular talk show ‘Shekhar Tonite’, Farah Khan reflected on her experience working on ‘Ghafoor’, a high-energy special number featured on ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’. Speaking with obvious pride, he described the moment as one of great personal significance.She said, “I recently did ‘Ghafoor’ with Tamannaah and she loved it. I started with SRK, and now I’ve choreographed for Aryan’s direction. I’m so happy that the circle has come full circle.”Farah Khan’s association with Shah Rukh Khan goes back decades. She has choreographed the superstar in some of Bollywood’s most beloved tracks, including ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ and ‘Dard-e-Disco’, and made her directorial debut with SRK in ‘Main Hoon Na’ in 2004. So walking onto the sets of Aryan Khan felt less like a career milestone and more like a career milestone.
About the song ‘Ghafoor’
The song ‘Ghafoor’, composed by Shashwat Sachdev and sung by Shilpa Rao and Ujwal Gupta, is a high-octane number that brings infectious energy to the series. Helmed by Tamannaah Bhatia, the song also features veteran Bollywood stars Ranjeet, Shakti Kapoor and Gulshan Grover. According to Farah, Tamannaah was absolutely delighted with how the choreography came together.

While his father Shah Rukh Khan continues to reign in front of the camera, Aryan Khan has chosen to leave his mark behind it. ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ marks Aryan’s official foray into cinema as a director. Produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment, the satirical comedy-drama has a powerhouse cast that includes Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal and Mona Singh among others. The series is one of the most anticipated OTT projects of recent times.
