Indian Air Force opens MTS job for six Group C posts; Foreign applications are invited until July 27

Indian Air Force MTS Recruitment 2026: The Indian Air Force has issued a notification for the recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) Group C Civilian posts under Advertisement No. 02/2026. Eligible Indian citizens can submit offline applications for recruitment to Air Force Stations and Units listed in the official notification.The recruitment process offers 6 opportunities for the post of MTS under HQ Maintenance Command. The candidates should send their completed application form by post to the notified address. Last date for receipt of applications is July 27, 2026, which is 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar.Job details and eligibilityThis work is carried out in six Multi-Tasking Staff positions. Applicants must have passed Class 10 from a recognized board. Eligible age limit is 18 to 25 years, with the age calculated as on July 27, 2026. Upper age relaxation will be given as per the state law.No application fee is charged to candidates in any category. The selection process is written examinationSelection will be based entirely on a written test. Before issuing call letters, officials will review applications to verify age, educational qualifications and supporting documents.The written test will include General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness. The question paper will be available in English and Hindi. Candidates selected after the written test will be required to submit original certificates and copies of documents submitted during the application process for verification.Application process and required documentsCandidates should submit their application form in Annexure-I format. The application should be written in English or Hindi and should have a recent passport size photograph. Applicants must also attach two passport size photographs similar to those attached to the application form.Documents supporting educational qualification, age, professional qualification, experience, PwBD status and caste, wherever applicable, should be included. OBC applicants are required to submit a valid non-asset certificate, while EWS candidates are required to submit an Asset Certificate.Applicants must have a self-addressed envelope containing Rs. 10 stamps and clearly mention the post and group on the envelope. Applications received before the publication of the advertisement or the closing date will not be accepted. The completed application form should be sent to the Commandant, IAM, IAF, Vimanapura PO, Bangalore – 560017. The Indian Air Force has stated that it will not be responsible for postal delays.
