Marks may be changed after CBSE declares the revised results.New Delhi: Delhi University (DU) has opened the first round of admissions for the 2026-27 graduation, even as the revised Class 12 results of nearly 20,000 CBSE students who sought re-examination are awaited.To address the concerns among the affected, DU has asked the students to register their Class 12 marks while registering on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) website. Marks may be changed after CBSE declares the revised results.“The 12th CBSE students who have applied for revaluation but have not yet received their revised scores should enter their revised marks on the CSAS portal. They can change their marks once the revised results are announced. Students need not worry, as the CSAS portal will be open for a few weeks, giving them enough time to change the admissions,” said Deannet Ganidhi, Deannet DU.Gandhi also said that Class 12 plays a lesser role in admissions.“CBSE marks are not used much for admissions. We have to ensure that a student has passed Class 12. These marks are used only as a tie breaker,” he said.CBSE has announced the revised results of about 87 percent of Class 12 students who have applied for the revision so far.Last week, an Education Ministry official told ANI that out of 1.68 lakh CBSE Class 12 students who applied for verification or re-evaluation, the revised results have been declared for about 1.47 lakh candidates – about 87 percent of those who registered. The remaining results, covering about 20,000 students, are expected to be announced in the next few days.On Friday, DU announced the commencement of Phase I registration under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) for admission to undergraduate programs for 2026-27.Candidates who have appeared in CUET (UG) 2026 and want admission in DU colleges can apply on CSAS portal using their CUET application number. Admission to 73 undergraduate programs and a combination of more than 100 BA programs in 67 colleges will be based on CUET (UG) 2026 schools, according to program eligibility criteria.In the second phase of CSAS, candidates will have to write CUET subjects and subjects studied in Class 12 before submitting their program and preferences to the college. The university said the schedule for Phase II will be announced separately.
