Registration for admission to the 5-year LLB CAP begins; The deadline is set for July 9

MHT CET LLB Admission 2026: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has started the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) registration for admission to the five-year LLB program for the academic year 2026-27. Candidates who have passed the entrance test can submit their applications online, the registration window will remain open till July 9, 2026.The CET Cell has encouraged the eligible candidates to complete the candidate registration within the stipulated time and ensure that all the required documents are submitted in the prescribed manner. A central accreditation process is underway for seats in participating legislative bodies across the state.Documents required for online registrationStudents applying through the CAP portal must upload a passport-sized photograph and signature in JPG or JPEG format. The CET Cell has said that the images must conform to the required dimensions and files specified during registration.Applicants are also asked to upload academic transcripts and other documents relevant to the admission process. A detailed list of required documents is available through CET Cell. All documents must be scanned and submitted in an acceptable manner as part of the online application process.Cell CET is giving instructions to candidatesThe CET Cell has advised the candidates to ensure that all the necessary documents are prepared before starting the registration process. Incomplete application or failure to upload documents in the specified format may affect the approval process.The accreditation process is carried out under the Department of Higher Education and Technology through the central accreditation system for law programs in the state. Candidates are expected to verify details while filling the online application form.Participation in five years LLB CETThe Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell reported that 29,288 candidates appeared for the five-year LLB CET conducted in 2026.
