Medal Tally: India climbs to eighth place with 10 medals
India climbed to eighth place in the Commonwealth Games medal standings after six medals on Day 5, taking their overall tally to 10 medals with two gold, five silver and three bronze.Australia continued to dominate the table with 59 medals (26 gold, 13 silver and 20 bronze), while England remained second with 32 medals. Canada took third place with 21 medals, followed by Nigeria (10) and Scotland (11). South Africa and Malaysia were tied on 11 medals each, with India close behind on 10. Jamaica rounded out the top nine with two gold medals, while New Zealand completed the top 10 with eight medals.
