After cementing his character as one of the show’s most detestable, Criston Cole took his last breath on the battlefield. In Season 3 Episode 6, the Commander led his army despite being heavily outnumbered. Intending to die a warrior’s death, he was shot with arrows three times, including one in the face. Gwayne Hightower abandoned him after learning of his promise to face death by doing the “righteous” deed. Cole had even tried to bring a truce to the fight by surrendering to Team Black; however, wouldn’t they let go of the golden opportunity of combat? After his death, the team went ahead to kill the men.
Fabien Frankel says about Criston Cole’s career
“It changes as the series goes on, as season three goes on, it definitely takes turns,” Fabian Frankel, who plays Criston Cole, said of his character’s trajectory in season three, according to PEOPLE. He added: “It brought back a certain sense of purpose, I think, [just] tear it down again.” “It would be hard for me to argue that he’s a good guy.
