National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the temporary answer key of University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) on its official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.Once released, the test takers will be able to download the provisional answer key by logging in with their application number and date of birth or password. Along with the answer key, the examination body will also publish the recorded answers, self answer sheets, question papers, wise answer keys, and key answer window.The UGC NET June 2026 exam was conducted from June 22 to June 30 for 87 subjects.Candidates who find any discrepancy in provisional answer keys will be allowed to challenge by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. The objections submitted by the candidates will be evaluated by academic experts. If the problem is found to be valid, the answer key will be changed and the changes will be reflected in the final answer key.The final answer key will be prepared after all the objections are checked. Results will be declared based on this final answer.UGC NET is held twice every year, in June and December, to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Associate Professor, and admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs.
