Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna recently suffered a minor leg injury while shooting for his upcoming film ‘NBK111’ in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.Nandamuri Kalyan Ram took to social media to wish Balakrishna a speedy recovery. Sharing a heartfelt note, the actor expressed confidence that his uncle would make a speedy recovery and return to work soon. He wrote, “I wish you a speedy recovery Babai. I’m sure you’ll be back in action in no time.”
Balakrishna injured during the action sequence
The incident took place while Balakrishna was shooting an action sequence alongside Manchu Manoj at Kakinada port.According to India Today, during the shoot, the actor is said to have slipped while performing a stunt resulting in an injury to his leg.Filming was immediately halted and the actor was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation. Doctors ran scans and other tests before ruling out the injury as a minor muscle tear.The production team confirmed that Balakrishna would undergo a minor surgical procedure which was advised by the doctors.
Manufacturers release an official health update
The production house released an official statement regarding Balakrishna’s condition and providing clarity on his treatment.The statement read, “During the shooting of an intense action sequence for #NBK111 in Kakinada, Nandamuri Balakrishna Garu suffered a small muscle tear. As advised by the medical team, he will undergo a minor surgical procedure to ensure a speedy and full recovery.”They added: “The procedure is routine and there is absolutely no cause for concern. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back to the sets very soon.”
Jr NTR also shares a heartfelt message
Soon after reports of the injury surfaced, Jr NTR also extended his wishes to Balakrishna via social media.Sharing an emotional message, he wrote, “Get well soon Bala Babai (uncle). I wish you a speedy recovery and good health. Looking forward to seeing you roaring back in top form…”
