Actor and dancer Raghav Juyal has revealed it salman khan called him personally after watching the trailer of his upcoming film ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’. According to Raghav, the superstar appreciated the comic tone of the film and felt that its humor brought something fresh that has been missing in recent releases.Speaking to IANS, the “Kill” actor recalled that Salman particularly liked one of the meta jokes in the trailer and did not hesitate to share his appreciation over the phone.
Salman Khan praised the film’s comedic approach
Sharing details of the conversation, Raghav said that Salman was impressed by a joke revolving around the popular phrase involving ‘someone’s brother’ and ‘someone’s life’.“Salman sir also called me after watching the trailer. Because I made a meta joke about ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.’ So he liked it a lot. He said: This is missing somewhere. The fresh and the young don’t. you did it It is a very good thing,” shared Raghav.

Raghav and Salman developed a close relationship while working together in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’. The actor has often spoken of his admiration and respect for Salman, describing their relationship as one that has continued beyond the filming of the film.Released on 21 April 2023, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ featured Raghav opposite Shehnaaz Gill and marked his first major collaboration with Salman Khan.
What ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’ is all about
Talking about his role in ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’, Raghav said that he plays Ajay Singh, an aspiring actor with huge confidence but very little talent.He explained, “I’m excited about Ajay Singh’s character in ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’ because he considers himself a very big and talented actor. He thinks he’s going to become a big superstar, but in reality, he gives a terrible performance. As he tries to prove himself with his bad performances, he keeps getting into trouble. There is chaos throughout the film, and eventually he finds himself in a situation where he has to return the money to a powerful woman.“
Inspired by Govinda’s comedy
Raghav also shared that the film is an attempt to revive the family comedy that audiences associate with Govinda’s films.“Through this comedy, I wanted to bring back the kind of humor we see in Govinda’s films, something for my parents and for small-town boys and girls. A film where people can laugh freely, laugh heartily and enjoy themselves without holding back,” he said.
