To Akhil Akkineni‘Lenin’ continued its theatrical run with a modest performance on its eighth day at the box office. After completing its first week, the action drama entered its second weekend with lower collections.According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film earned around Rs 1.65 crore nett in India on Day 8. The latest figure marks a 17.5% decline from the Rs 2.00 crore nett collected on the previous day.
India collections are over Rs 38 crore nett
Day 8 earnings come from 1,681 shows across India. “Lenin” has taken its total net collection from India to around Rs 38.30 crore. Its gross in India now stands at Rs 43.94 crore.The film completed its first week with Rs 36.65 crore nett. It added another Rs 1.65 crore on its second Friday to bolster its domestic total.
Worldwide it stands at Rs 53.49 crore
‘Lenin’ collected around Rs 15 lakhs gross internationally on day 8. This takes its overseas total to Rs 9.55 crore gross. The worldwide gross of the action film has now reached Rs 53.49 crore.Figures abroad have remained relatively modest. However, they have helped push the film beyond Rs 50 crore worldwide.
Occupancy remains above 20% on the 8th
The Telugu version of ‘Lenin’ registered an overall occupancy of 20.96% on its eighth day. The film registered 15.69% occupancy in the morning. Afternoon shows recorded 20.77%, while evening occupancy increased to 21.38%. The highest participation was during the night shows, which recorded 25.31% occupancy.State-wise, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remained the film’s top contributors, grossing Rs 1.65 crore on Day 8. Karnataka added Rs 20 lakh, while Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 2 lakh. The rest of the regions together earned 3 lakhs.
