The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET UG 2026 cut off along with the declaration of NEET UG 2026 result. Candidates who appeared for the medical entrance exam can now check their scorecards and the relevant cut off on the official website.The cut off specifies the percentage and minimum percentage required to qualify for admission counseling in MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, B.Sc. Nursing and other graduate medical courses. The result and eligibility criteria were announced on July 16, 2026.
NEET UG 2026 Cutoff: Merit wise categories
The eligible cut-off is fixed as per the percentage schedule prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Along with the qualifying percentiles, NTA has also announced the equivalent marks for each category.
Candidates who have secured the marks within the cut off time of their respective categories will be eligible to participate in the counselling.

Along with the cut off, NTA has also published the number of eligible candidates in various categories.
The organization has made it clear that these figures represent the candidates who qualify under the categories mentioned in the admission notice. Separately, NTA has reported that more than 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for NEET UG 2026 in all categories.
The cutoff marks are higher compared to last year
The NEET UG 2026 marks have increased significantly compared to last year, especially for the General category candidates.
