Sonakshi Sinha has again expressed his discomfort with the intrusive behavior of the paparazzi. After attending Akansha Ranjan i Sharan SharmaAt the wedding reception in Mumbai, the actress strongly asked photographers to stop following her as she made her way to her car. A paparazzi video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.
Sonakshi asks photographers to maintain boundaries
As Sonakshi left the venue, photographers continued to walk alongside her and gathered around her vehicle. The actress initially thanked them for the photographs before asking them to step back. She said, “Bas boys, abhi gaadi ke andar nahi hai. Ho gaya. Thank you. Bye. Good night.” (“That’s enough guys. I’m not in the car yet. That’s it. Thanks. Bye. Good night)As photographers continued to wait around her car, Sonakshi made her stance even clearer, saying, “Jab tak aap nahi jaoge, main nahi baithungi.” This is not the first time that Sonakshi has addressed the issue publicly. Last week, he urged photographers to stop filming his parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, after the family stepped out after a dinner party.Her husband Zaheer Iqbal also tried to calm the situation by asking the paparazzi to stop filming. However, as they continued filming, Sonakshi chimed in again and said, “Bye guys. Thanks. Good night!”
Neha Dhupia also raised concerns
Sonakshi is not the only celebrity to speak out against invasive photography. Neha Dhupia recently slammed the paparazzi for doing what she described as inappropriate “back shots” during a public appearance.Expressing her frustration, Neha said, “Yeh badtameezi se backshot kaun leta hai tumlog me se? Kaun leta hai? Band karo.” (Who among you is doing these disrespectful back shots? Who does? Stop it)He further added: “Don’t do it to me. Don’t do it to anyone. We’re tired of saying it over and over again. Picking up bags and books, walking backwards, none of that is going to work anymore. Let’s stop all of this. We’re talking to all of you very respectfully. Don’t do this.”
