The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has started the registration process for admission to agriculture, agricultural engineering and science engineering programs for the academic session 2026-27. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org, till July 25, 2026.The admission process is open to several graduate programs, including Bachelor of Science (Honours) Agriculture, Bachelor of Science (Honours) Horticulture, Bachelor of Science (Honours) Forestry, Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc), Agricultural Biotechnology, Agricultural Business Management, and other agriculture-related courses.CET Cell has also invited candidates for Bachelor of Technology (BTech) courses in Agricultural Engineering and Food Technology.According to official information, these four-year degree programs are offered under nine faculties in four agricultural universities in Maharashtra. A total of 17,586 seats are available for first year admission in 195 agricultural colleges across the state.

Candidates must upload all the required documents and certificates while submitting the online application form.For admissions in Agricultural Engineering, the entrance test will be applicable. For all other agriculture degree programs, candidates can be admitted based on their score in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET), Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), depending on the requirements of the course.However, the CET Cell noted that the NEET 2026 results have not been declared yet.
