1.29 million subscribers YouTuber cracks UPSC after four attempts, defends AIR 760

For many internet users, Kirti Chowdhury is the face behind it YouTube KirtiChow, where she shares funny and dynamic videos with over 1.29 million subscribers. But behind the camera, he was working towards a different goal.Kirti has secured All India Rank (AIR) 760 in UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025. According to APTI PLUS Academy, she is from Howrah, West Bengal, and completed her B.Com (Honours) in Accounts and Economics from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.His UPSC journey was not a one-time success. He appeared for the test four times. He cleared the prelims in 2022, 2023 and 2024, made it to Mains in 2023 and 2025, and finally cleared all three stages, Prelims, Mains and Interview, in UPSC CSE 2025, the results of which were announced this year.Instead of choosing an optional subject related to her business, Kirti chose Philosophy. He believed that true interest in a subject is more important than following the popular preferences. In his preparation, he focused on regular revision, answer-writing and mock tests.Away from studies, Kirti continued to pursue her hobbies. His interests include caricature and strength training, which he described as activities that helped him become creative, disciplined and mentally fresh in preparation.His social presence also reflects his attitude towards self-improvement. In another Instagram post, Kirti wrote, “Don’t be ashamed of your reputation, denying your roots.”He also said, “It’s okay to take the bus, not go to parties, wear shirts to the brim, not have the latest and most expensive gear as long as you have the desire to be a self-made person instead of sticking to your parents and being ashamed to accept & accept your financial status.”His YouTube channel describes itself as a space for “Entertainment and my lame humor.” Some of his most famous writings are movies such as The Cat Who Practices Astrology is Fake! and My Childish Thoughts That Should Be Illegal!. His last video on the road was uploaded in December 2025.
