Liz Meriwether has been tapped to write the script for the upcoming Britney Spears biopic. The acclaimed television screenwriter and creator will work alongside director Jon M. By August 2024, the studio had secured the rights to Spears’ memoir with Chu and Platt attached to push the feature into production.
