The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the Round 3 cut-off list for 2026 on its official website, josaa.nic.in. Cutoff has been published in the order of opening and closing of various schools, branches and groups.Candidates who have appeared in the counseling session can now check the Round 3 session to know the admissions sessions given in this session.The cut-offs have been released separately for various categories, including Open, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD).Round 3 cutoff includes admissions for Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs).
How to manage JoSAA Round 3 cut 2026
Candidates can follow these steps to download the cutoff list:
- Visit the official website of JoSAA at josaa.nic.in.
- Click on the eServices tab.
- Select the link Open and Close 2026.
- Choose a group, branch and seat.
- The Round 3 color list will appear on the screen.
- Download and save for future use.
JoSAA Round 3 counseling process
Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 3 must complete the admission process according to the following schedule:

What should followers do?
After the Round 3 seat, candidates should log on to the JoSAA counseling website and respond to their allotted seat within the allotted time.They can choose one of the following:
- Turn off: Accept your assigned seat and do not participate in other counseling sessions.
- Contact: Accept the seat but still be eligible to choose wisely in the next races.
- Slides: Accept the school you are offered but look for a better option within the same institution in future competitions.
Candidates who choose to accept the allotted seat must also pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF). The fee is Rs 30,000 for Open and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates, while reserved category candidates have to pay Rs 15,000.Candidates are advised to complete all admissions within the prescribed schedule to avoid being disqualified from their seat.
