The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has started the online registration process for the September-November 2026 Chartered Accountancy (CA) examination. Eligible candidates can now submit their test forms through the CA Self Service Portal (SSP).According to the government policy, the application process starts on July 6, 2026. Candidates can send their applications without late fees until July 19, while applications with late fees will be accepted until July 22, 2026.The board also announced that candidates will have a window of correction from July 23 to July 25, 2026 to change their exam city, exam medium or other admissions.ICAI has clarified that the examination forms will be accepted only online.

ICAI CA September-November 2026 exam schedule

The September-November exams include CA Foundation, CA Intermediate, CA Final and two post-qualifying exams.

Exam timesMost of the exam papers will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM.However, CA Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will be held for two hours, while CA Final Paper 6 and International Taxation Assessment Test (INTT-AT) will have a duration of four hours.Candidates will also be given 15 minutes of advance reading from 1:45 PM before the exam starts. This place will not be available for Foundation Papers 3 and 4 and the post-qualification examination.

Trial fees

For exam centers in India, the payment methods are as follows:

Candidates can choose to write the Foundation, Intermediate and Final exams in English or Hindi.ICAI has also said that once the exam schedule is announced, the dates cannot be changed, even if the exam date is declared as a public holiday by the Central or State Government.Candidates are advised to complete the application process before the due date to avoid late payment and to check everything carefully before submitting the application form.
