Tom Holland reveals that he wasn’t more confident on his first day on the set of ‘The Odyssey’. She revealed that during filming, the director kept yelling more at her takes, leading her to believe that something was wrong. While chatting with Fandango, he revealed that the situation made him feel like Nolan hated him and his performance on the set of the movie on the first day.However, he was later revived to find that the cuts were being made so that the IMAX cameras would work properly. He shared, “Working with the Imax cameras for the first time is an experience. It’s unlike anything I’ve seen before, and I didn’t know it was only running for three minutes. So, I remember you would keep cutting and I was with Jon. [Bernthal]like, “Why does he keep cutting? Why does he keep doing that?”However, at the time, the thought hadn’t registered in the actor’s mind and it had taken him to a dark place where he felt that Nolan had hated his work in front of the camera. He shared, “And in my head, I said, ‘He doesn’t like what we’re doing? What’s going on?’ And then, I remember that it actually was [stunt coordinator] George Cottle said, “No, no, no, there’s only three minutes in the magazine.” I said, ‘Oh, thank God.“I thought I was totally out of bed in that scene.”

In another interview with GQ, the actor further shared that it was one of the best experiences he’s had working with Christopher Nolan. He then added that: “Working with Chris, meeting him and Emma [Thomas] it was absolutely fantastic. I’ve never seen anyone who can work the way they do, and there’s a reason why they’re the best in the business for sure.” He also shared that it was amazing to see the director in his element working on the film and with all the actors who were present on set.Christopher Nolan is one of the most revered filmmakers and is well known for his skills and for creating blockbuster films.
