Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is closing the online application process for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group D today, July 5, 2026. Eligible candidates who have not yet completed the application process can submit their applications through the One Time Registration (OTR) website before the last date. The recruitment process is going on under Advertisement No. 05/2026 for Group D posts in various departments of Haryana government.The HSSC released the Group D CET notification on June 18, 2026, while the online application window was opened on June 19, 2026. The last date for submitting the applications was extended to July 5, 2026. The agency revealed that there are about 8,000 candidates under the recruitment process. CET serves as the qualifying examination for appointment to Group D posts in the government.Job details and eligibilityThe application is open to those who have passed Class 10. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 42, with July 6, 2026, as the last date to determine their eligibility. Age relaxation will be applied in accordance with state law.Recruitment is from Haryana and selection will be done through CET process. The exam date will be announced separately by the organization.Application fee is optionalThe application fee is Rs 500 for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while applicants belonging to SC, ST and PH/PWD categories have to pay Rs 250. Fees can be paid through online. Although the application window closes today, applicants can submit applications until July 8, 2026.The selection process consists of HSSC CET Group D written test, followed by document verification and medical examination. The board has also withdrawn the earlier provision of awarding additional marks based on socio-economic criteria. The selection now depends on the CET score of the candidates.The application process is the configuration windowCandidates have to go to the HSSC official website, complete the OTR process if not already registered, fill the CET Group D application form, upload the required documents, pay the prescribed amount and submit the application online. A printout of the submitted form should be kept for future reference.Once the process is over, HSSC will allow candidates to change their application forms from July 9 to July 11, 2026, before announcing the exam schedule.
