Beyoncé releases song ahead of ‘B’Day’ 20th anniversary
Beyoncé’s new release will be included in the 20th anniversary edition of ‘B’Day’. He reportedly recorded the song in 2013 and teased it in 2021 before releasing the full song two years later, per Variety. According to a statement from Parkwood Entertainment, the lyric video reuses old footage of the singer directed by Cliff Watts on her 25th birthday. Originally written by Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream and Darius Dixon, the song is “a direct nod to their loyal BeyHive to commemorate the upcoming epic B’Day celebration.”
