Imran Khan slams Andrew Tate and says he is targeting boys looking for male role models
Imran Khan slammed Andrew Tate for exploiting vulnerable young boys looking for role models. She credited her mother and the men in the family, including uncle Aamir Khan, for the positive influence. In the Decoding Quirks podcast, Imran noted that many men grow up thinking that wealth, success and material success will guarantee happiness. When that promise falls short, they feel directionless, making them susceptible to those who claim to have all the answers. Speaking specifically about Andrew Tate and characters like him, Imran said: “In this, there are people who are subverting these men. Andrew Tate is possibly one of the most famous of these. But there are men like these who prey on vulnerable boys who are looking for male role models. They’re looking for direction, and that’s where these guys come in saying, I’ll tell you how. And they sell these men a simplistic male power fantasy. Strong, show women their place, and that’s how you become a man. And in that vulnerable space, young guys believe those narratives.”

Imran Khan credits his family as a positive influence

Imran further revealed that these ideas never appealed to him because he grew up surrounded by people who modeled something completely different. He credited his mother, along with the men in his family, including his uncle Aamir Khanto have a lasting influence on how he sees the world. He said: “I give credit to my mother and the men in my life, my father and my stepfather, my uncles Mansoor and Aamir. All these men were positive male influences in my life. They are men who, by themselves, respected women and they taught me the same. Not in a disparaging way, but in a real, fair and humane way.”

Imran Khan’s acting career

Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran entered Bollywood in 2008 with ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’ co-starring Genelia D’Souza.
