The team was responding to claims that the film ran into issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).Posting the statement on its X handle (formerly Twitter), the production house said that the reports are completely false. He clarified that the film is yet to be submitted to the CBFC for certification.
Salman Khan Films makes a clarification
The statement said, “Any claims suggesting that Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace has run into issues with the CBFC or that its certification has been put on hold are false. The film has not yet been submitted to the CBFC for certification. Therefore, these reports are completely unfounded.” The production house further added, “We request media and people to refrain from circulating unverified information. Any official updates about the film will be shared by Salman Khan Films through its official channels only.”

For those not in the know, in recent weeks, several reports claimed that the film had undergone changes and redesigns. Some reports also suggested that the CBFC had put the film’s certification on hold. However, the latest statement from Salman Khan Films has rubbished all these claims and made it clear that the certification process has not even started.
