The moment most moviegoers have been eagerly waiting for has finally arrived!Mohanlal has officially announced his next collaboration with the filmmaker Dileesh Pothan. The project has been titled ‘Nedumkandam Miracle’ and it is the first time that the Malayalam superstar and the acclaimed director of ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’ are working together.The announcement was made Friday via a motion poster shared on social media.While the makers have confirmed the title and key crew members, they have chosen not to reveal any details about the film’s story.
The motion poster keeps the mystery alive
Instead of revealing the main characters, the motion poster only offers silhouettes. It presents the outlines of a man, two women and two children, without showing their faces or identities. ‘The script of Nedumkandam Miracle has been jointly written by Syam Pushkaran and Paulson Skaria. Shyju Khalid has been signed as cinematographer, while Sushin Shyam will compose the music. Editing responsibilities have been entrusted to Saiju Sreedharan.
Mohanlal has a packed release schedule
Apart from ‘Nedumkandam Miracle’, Mohanlal has several films lined up in the coming months. The actor is currently working on ‘Athimanoharam’, directed by Tharun Moorthy, who earlier delivered ‘Thudarum’.He also has another major project in the pipeline with veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan.Mohanlal fans also have another reason to celebrate. One of the actor’s most iconic films, Kireedam, is set to hit the theaters again. The restored version is scheduled to hit theaters on July 10.
