Virat Karrna’s action-adventure mythological ‘Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure’ has taken a steady start at the Indian box office. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 3.25 crore in the net collections of India on its opening day. Day 1 business came from 3,202 shows across the country and registered an overall occupancy of 22%.Directed by Abhishek Nama, the film is inspired by Indian mythology and history. It stars Virat Karrna in the lead role, with Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon playing key characters.
India gross reaches Rs 3.74 crore
‘Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure’ has registered a gross collection in India of Rs 3.74 crore. Its net collection from India is currently Rs 3.25 crore.The Telugu version grossed Rs 2.90 crore. The Hindi version followed with Rs 20 lakhs, while the Tamil version earned Rs 10 lakhs. The Malayalam added Rs 3 lakhs and the Kannada version brought in Rs 2 lakhs.
The Telugu version registers the strongest occupancy
The Telugu version posted the best occupancy among all the language versions. It recorded an overall occupancy of 24.87% on Friday.The day started with 19.46% occupancy during the morning shows. Audience participation increased to 24.15% in the afternoon. It held steady at 23.92% overnight before rising to 31.92% for the night shows that recorded the highest attendance of the day.The Hindi version registered an overall occupancy of 12.53% while the Tamil version finished with 10.90%. The Kannada version reported 17.38% occupancy. The Malayalam version registered 4.30% throughout the day.
