Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding celebrations may not be taking place entirely at Madison Square Garden after all. After the AP confirmed that Taylor will officially marry her NFL boyfriend Travis this weekend at Madison Square Garden, a new report has implied that the wedding ceremony and celebrations may be held in two different locations.According to TMZ, the couple’s nuptials are expected to take place elsewhere at a separate venue on July 3, with the largest celebration with around 999 guests reportedly taking place at Madison Square Garden. The report follows comments made by celebrity memorabilia collector Anthony Jabin during an appearance on TMZ Live, where he revealed he had received an invitation to the couple’s wedding.“I’m leaving…I have an invitation,” Jabin said. When asked what the invitation revealed about the event, Jabin declined to reveal specifics, but continued to say, “Well, I’m not allowed to reveal it, but it’s not what everyone thinks. It’s a bit of a surprise. They don’t want people to really know where it is.”Although the publication previously reported that the reception will take place at Madison Square Garden, Jabin confirmed that the ceremony where the couple will say ‘I Do’, will not be held at the iconic New York venue.Jabin also shared that he had been invited by Swift herself and revealed their connection. “She was at the Super Bowl when I met her. She’s very sweet and a great person,” he said. While Jabin would not confirm whether the wedding ceremony will take place elsewhere in New York City, TMZ noted that it seems likely, given the timeline of the reported events, and the cocktail hour is said to begin at 4 pm ET.Winick Productions, a company that has produced red carpet events for Grammy and Tony Award shows and movie premieres, also applied for a permit to set up a canopy or tent outside the Garden for an event with up to 999 people.New York City Police Department Commissioner Jessica Tisch declined to confirm on Wednesday that Swift and Kelce’s wedding would take place at MSG on Friday, but said her department will be adequately resourced at every major event over the weekend.“I would be remiss not to mention an event we’re following at Madison Square Garden on Friday night,” Tisch said. “The NYPD will of course have a detail in place, but I’m not going to go into more detail at this time.”A law enforcement official briefed on the security plans told the AP that the wedding will be held Friday, with a smaller rehearsal dinner Thursday night. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the facts publicly.
