The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) to secure their exam fees by adding a verification window and bank account management. The deadline has been extended to July 7, 2026, 11:50 PM. Candidates who missed the deadline or provided incorrect banking information, to ensure that eligible students do not lose their money due to technical or technical errors. In an official notification, the testing agency announced that the refund facility will be available until July 7, 2026, allowing candidates to view, verify, correct or change their bank account details.The official announcement said:“With the aim of ensuring that no one is misled and that everyone who is eligible has the opportunity to get a refund, NTA has decided to extend the refund facility to all those who want to view, verify, correct or change their bank account information until 7 July 2026 (until 11:50 PM).”

- Visit the official website of NEET, neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link “Last Chance to Verify/Update Bank Account Details for NEET (UG) 2026 Fee Refund (Exams held on 03 May 2026)”.
- Log in using the required credentials.
- Open the selected dashboard.
- Verify and update bank account information, if needed.
- Check everything carefully before sending.
- Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

How to verify bank account information
To complete the verification, candidates must log in to the NEET UG 2026 registration page and complete the two-factor authentication. After finding the “Bank Account Details Confirmation/Updation” link, they can confirm or update their bank details.NTA has also allowed candidates to deposit a cheque, if they wish, to verify the correctness of the bank account details submitted.The agency has also clarified that once the bank details are provided after verification, the information will be treated as final. Hence the candidates are advised to check everything carefully before submitting the application.
