When darkness surrounds Fromville
The 10th episode picks up from last week’s chilling cliffhanger, where Tabitha and Jade go under the bottle tree to approach the chamber and collect the children’s bones. However, uprooting the bottle tree begins the plight of the people as the monsters take over the town, according to TV Insider. With a brave heart, Jade steps forward to sacrifice herself so Tabitha can walk away with bones. The plan quickly goes awry after the ladder breaks due to Sophia’s meddling. Deeper in the tunnel, they try to communicate by radio waves with Boyd, who finds them along with Fatima and Ellis.Meanwhile, Fatima’s heart rate slows down after drinking the herbal concoction. He has a vision of Smiley walking into the clinic, which quickly becomes reality. The creature attacks Marielle, who was present with Fatima, and cuts her in half. With the hard struggle, Fatima lets out an inhuman roar.Although Fatima is physically connected to the dark aspects, as she mentioned feeling “cold” and the transformation occurred before the tree fell in the forest, she is emotionally human. It bought time for Tabitha, Jade, Boyd, and Ellis to fight off the creatures in the tunnel with their new monster-like abilities. While the bones were acquired, the absence of the bottle tree has set the tone for the upcoming season.
