When actor-comedian Vir Das publicly dismissed the widely circulated story that he was injured during the 2014 film’s kiss sequence, Kangana expressed her gratitude to her former co-star for clarifying the truth. Not stopping there, the actor-turned-politician fired back at the reporter behind the claims, calling her a “slut” and accusing her of exploiting actors to satisfy what he described as “demonic sexual fantasies.”
Vir Das endorses Kangana Ranaut’s professionalism
Defending Kangana’s conduct on the sets of ‘Revolver Rani’, Vir stepped forward to vouch for her professionalism. In his post, he wrote, “Correct. Just so we’re clear. This story is pure fiction. Kangana was a complete pro and I still maintain, a truly gifted artiste. This is an unfair slander on her. He went on to call me a terrorist a few years later because of my comedy, but on set… no problem.”

Taking to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday, Kangana hit back at allegations circulating that she had hurt Vir during a kissing scene in ‘Revolver Rani’. The actress took the opportunity to express her gratitude to Vir for stepping up and publicly shutting down the viral story.

Responding to Vir’s post, Kangana shot down the viral allegations and took a sarcastic and pointed dig at the rumours, while thanking the comedian for speaking out. She wrote: “Thanks Vir but who is she? Ewww she looks like a weirdo who uses us to fulfill her demonic sexual fantasies, I’m eating your blood and you’re traumatized and crying even today after a decade. How random (laughing emoji).’
How the Kangana Ranaut and Vir Das controversy started
The controversy surrounding Revolver Rani gathered steam on social media after journalist Simi Chandoke appeared on Siddharth Kannan’s podcast where she made a series of allegations. According to Simi, Vir had an extremely difficult experience shooting the film alongside Kangana. He alleged that during a passionate kissing scene, Kangana was so caught up in the moment that she couldn’t stop even after the director shouted cunt. Simi further claimed that Kangana not only continued beyond the end of the scene, but also bit Vir’s lip so hard that it drew blood, leaving him in considerable distress.
