Akshay Kumar has followed the routine of eating early, not for a couple of months, but for over 20 years. Standing in the entertainment industry, the 58-year-old is known to be an expert in fitness exercises and to follow a strict diet. “Dinner early is important. It’s very important for your body because when we go to sleep at night, our eyes rest, our legs rest, our hands rest, all parts of our body rest. But what doesn’t rest is your stomach because we ate late”, he shared his ideas during a conversation with the audience at the presentation event of the book ‘Knowr’.

He also recited the scientific facts behind the practice, stating: “I believe that diseases will not come to you. That’s what I always follow. So it’s important to eat at 6.30pm because you have time to digest your food, and when you’re about to sleep, at 9, 9.30, 10, your stomach is completely ready to rest.”
