In a BTS clip from the show, Alia revealed that she first watched India’s Got Latent while traveling on a flight and found herself laughing uncontrollably.Speaking to Samay Raina, the actress said, “I’ve only seen Latent, by the way, on my flight. You sent me that episode, which I watched; I was laughing so hard (mimics herself) and, like, not realizing that Raha is sleeping next to me, with my headphones on, disturbing everyone.”

In another viral clip from the episode’s behind-the-scenes footage, Alia praised Samay’s Still Alive special, describing it as “pure art”.Curious about the creative process behind the special, she asked Samay how it was shot and edited.“So the special you did in various cities around the world, and then you take a version and release it? So the one we saw was already performed a couple of times?” Alia asked.To this, Samay revealed that the set had actually been performed about 200 times before the release of the final version.

Alia also wanted to know how Samay handled the emotionally charged sections of her performance. The comedian shared that while most parts of the special were carefully written and thought out, one segment in particular was intentionally left untouched.“So what I would do is everything else in this special I would write and think about. Except for this bit. I never wrote that part or thought about it off stage. I would just do that part on stage and put myself back in that room,” he explained.Samay further revealed that revisiting these memories would make him emotional every time.“I used to think about that room, I would just put myself in that room and it would make me cry every time,” she said, adding that she got emotional and cried during every performance of that segment.After the overwhelming response to its premiere episode, India’s Got Latent Season 2 has created a huge buzz among the viewers.
