Despite planning a big wedding, Paul Wesley recalled how things turned out for his impromptu wedding at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. “I just got married, yeah, I eloped,” the 43-year-old actor told Entertainment Tonight, before adding: “We were planning a big wedding, and then we said, let’s get legally married.” “We were expecting a cancellation at the Santa Barbara courthouse because it’s such a beautiful courthouse,” Wesley shared, adding, “But it was booked for three months and we found a cancellation the night before.” As a result, Natalie found her dress and they hired a photographer. “Everything was [done] the day before, and it was so special because…because it was so spontaneous; made it more special. It was just us and our dog. It was incredible,” he concluded.
