Pascal teased some details about the upcoming film and shared that his character, Dr. Reed Richards, does not take responsibility for the actions of Victor Von Doom. Pedro Pascal details the relationship between Dr. Reed Richards and Dr. Doom
Recently, the entire cast of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ joined the Marvel production team at San Diego Comic-Con to announce new details about the film. Later, while speaking to Entertainment Weekly about the film, Pascal revealed some details about the relationship that his character Dr. Reed Richards shares with Victor Von Doom.The actor revealed that he sees their bond through the eyes of his character Richards, who doesn’t want to take any responsibility for the main antagonist and his questionable actions. He added: “Intellectuals understand that we are all responsible for ourselves.” The actor further added that “The world we’re in, and the way I understand it through Reed, at least, is very unique to the relationship I have with Doom, and I guess there’s a huge barrier between the context we all have as an audience in the Avengers experience and the incredible way it all comes together because we have the X-Men sitting with us.”Pedro Pascal, who is also known for his roles in ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’, ‘The Last of Us’ and ‘Materialists’, first appeared in the MCU with ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’, which also starred Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Julia Garner in the lead roles.
About ‘Fantastic Four’
The “Fantastic Four” franchise began in the 2000s, where Ioan Gruffudd and Julian McMahon appeared as the main archenemies of the films. Later, when the characters were rejected in the new version of the film, actors Miles Teller and Toby Kebbell played Dr. Reed Richards and Dr. Doom, respectively.A new image from the upcoming movie ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ was released at the Hall H presentation at the Comic-Con event, showing how Sue Storm was connected to Victor Von Doom and understood his past and how he lost his family. The teaser also ended up revealing that another of the original ‘Avengers’ characters, Peggy Carter, will also be joining the gang in the upcoming film. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ will be released in December this year.
