Matthew Needham cast as the Joker’s voice actor in Season 2 of “Batman: Caped Crusader.”
Matthew Needham, after mounting the success of ‘House of the Dragon’, is ready to take on another project. Deadline recently reported that the actor has officially been cast to voice the role of the Joker in the upcoming second season of the DC animated series. The casting was confirmed by the production team on Thursday during a presentation at San Diego Comic-Con.Not only that, but the season 2 premiere episode was also screened at the event for select audience members. The panel was attended by producers James Tucker and Geoffrey Thorne, voice stars Hamish Linklater and Jamie Chung, as well as Matthew Needham himself, who also confirmed his presence on the show. Along with the first episode of the series, the production company also released the first official trailer for the video game version of the series, titled ‘Batman: Caped Crusader Chronicles’.Both the game and the animated TV series will be released on July 31st. The second season of the animated series will be available for fans to stream on Prime Video.
