With the start of a new month, Virat Kohli i Anushka Sharma he once again headed to spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj’s ashram in Vrindavan. Videos that surfaced on the internet on Wednesday captured the couple arriving at the ashram dressed in simple attire, with both covering their faces with masks.The visit comes weeks after the couple sought blessings at the same ashram next door Royal Challengers Bangalore’s memorable IPL triumph over Gujarat Titans. Kohli, who played a key role in RCB’s campaign, was also accompanied by Anushka on that spiritual journey.Known for their regular visits to Vrindavan, Virat and Anushka have often turned to Premanand Maharaj for spiritual guidance, often seeking his teachings on balancing life beyond fame, success and the limelight.Reflecting on RCB’s title-winning campaign after the IPL win, Kohli praised the overall balance and depth of the team. “All the batsmen were also sent there. I feel very happy to play in a group where we have balance, we have strength and we are a strong team and that’s why we have the confidence we have in the field right now,” he said.The big hitter also admitted that the atmosphere ahead of this final was markedly different to last season, attesting to the squad’s belief in their own abilities. “I told a few guys it doesn’t feel like the same pressure as last year; we knew what skill we have in the group,” he said.“We topped the table – there’s a reason we came first and we just said one thing – if we stick to our cricket, if we execute our plans, we’re the best team in the competition and that’s why we’ve done well so far.
