RRB JE Recruitment 2026: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) under the Ministry of Railways has issued Central Employment Notification (CEN) No. 04/2026 for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). The recruitment will fill 4,098 posts in various Railway Recruitment Boards in the country.According to the notice, the online application process is scheduled to start on August 14, 2026, while the last date for sending applications is September 13, 2026. The agency said that the current notice is for information, and a detailed notice containing all the qualifications, exam details and other instructions will be released before the application window opens.Job and job detailsThis job is done for technical positions including Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical), Junior Engineer (Works), Junior Engineer (Design), Junior Engineer (Workshop), Chemical Supervisor (Research), Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant and other notified technical jobs. A total of 4,098 jobs have been announced.Candidates will be placed in Level-6 of the 7th Central Pay Commission with a starting monthly salary of Rs 35,400. Nominations will be made for Indian territories.

Eligibility and application processCandidates applying for notified jobs must have a degree in a relevant field. Minimum age is 18 years and maximum age is 33 years. Age will be counted from January 1, 2027, when relaxation for reserved categories will be given as per the rules of Government of India and RRB.The application fee is Rs 500 for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PwBD and women candidates will pay Rs 250. Payments will be made online.The way to choose is to useThe selection is expected to include Computer Based Test (CBT-I), Computer Based Test (CBT-II), document verification and medical examination.Candidates will be asked to apply through the official RRB website using a valid email address and mobile number, complete the online application form, upload the required documents, photo and signature, pay the applicable fee, and submit the application before the last date. Applicants are also advised to keep educational certificates, national and housing certificates, and other necessary documents in preparation for registration.
