Legendary actor Dharmendra he passed away in November last year and his family is still reeling and coming to terms with their loss. In a recent interview, Hema Malini she burst into tears as she remembered her late husband. Reflecting on their life together, she described him as the strongest source of support in her life, crediting him for encouraging her both personally and professionally.Hema found it hard to put her emotions into words as she remembered her husband’s unwavering presence. “I feel very uncomfortable talking about this, but I am very grateful to the Almighty for giving me such a wonderful soulmate whose memories I will cherish until the end of my life. There is no one who can replace him. He was such a strong pillar in my life, in my career, everything,” he said in an interview with Republic World.She also revealed that marriage never came at the cost of her career because Dharmendra always encouraged her to pursue her passions. “He allowed me to do everything after marriage. He never said, ‘Sit at home’. He knew that I am an artiste, that I am a dancer. He had seen my growth, so he always encouraged me to continue with my films and my dance. He always said, ‘You have to keep doing it. Don’t stop at anything,'” shared Hema Malini.Recalling his values, Hema said Dharmendra always believed in keeping the family together and loved spending time with his loved ones.“He really liked the family, that we all say together. He always said: ‘Stay together. Never be alone. Always be with the children,'” he shared. While she said she is grateful for the years they spent together, Hema admitted that her absence continues to leave a deep emotional void, especially for daughters Esha and Ahana.“I am happy, but at the same time I feel very sad when I see my two daughters deeply hurt because the pope is not there. This void can never be filled.”The conversation turned even more emotional when Hema was surprised by heartfelt tributes from her daughters, Ahana Deol and Esha Deol. The first message came in the form of a letter from Ahana, who expressed her admiration for her mother’s resilience, achievements and enduring spirit.Reading the letter, the host shared Ahana’s words: “It’s almost impossible to keep anything from you because you’re such a big part of our lives.
